Mikkel Christensen first rose to fame as part of the world famous Global Deejays. Fame came quickly after the international hit “The Sounds of San Francisco”.

In an instant the trio were transformed into one of Europe biggest Dance Superstars with a hit in number one spot in over 19 countries. Mikkels most memorial appearance was playing at Eska Awards for over 120,000 people. The success of the Global Deejays was truly global!

At the end of 2006 Mikkel Decided he needed a change from the hectic work schedule of Global Deejays and moved to Mallorca to set up a more relaxed lifestyle. Within months he found himself back in the studio, unable to quench his thirst for wicked house beats.

Mikkels influence comes from a lot of hard house and melodic trance. He admires the work of pioneers like Underworld, Leftfield and Orbital. Some of the newer artists admired by Mikkel are Trentemoller, Rene Amesz, Darren Mase, and Sebastien Leger.

Mikkel Christenses has joined the ranks for D4Dirty Records with his first two releases as a solo artist. We are happy to have him!
